A public hearing was held in Astana to consider the application of the Settlement and Financial Center for the Support of Renewable Energy Sources LLP

Today, the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan held public hearings as part of the consideration of information from the Settlement and Financial Center for the Support of Renewable Energy Sources LLP (RFC for RES) on the marginal prices for services for the centralized purchase and sale of electricity by a single purchaser of electricity and a centralized purchase of a service to maintain the readiness of electric power and centralized sale of a service to ensure the readiness of electric power to bear the load by a single purchaser in terms of the costs of a single purchaser associated with the implementation of its activities.

Public hearings were held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the CREM Miras Zeripbaev, who familiarized all the participants of the hearing with the order of its conduct, and also asked them to actively express their suggestions and comments on the draft prices.

“The purpose of holding public hearings is to ensure transparency, openness, awareness, and balance of consumer interests,” Miras Zeripbayev said.

The management of the RFC for RES, representatives of the media, as well as consumers took part in the public hearings.

The report was made by the General Director of the RFC for RES Nalibayeva Gulzhan, who announced the planned marginal price for the centralized purchase and sale of electrical energy and for the centralized purchase of services to maintain the readiness of electrical capacity and the centralized sale of services to ensure the readiness of electrical capacity to bear the load by a single purchaser in part of the costs of a single purchaser of electricity associated with the implementation of its activities.

Public hearings were held offline, and were also broadcast on the official CREAM Facebook page and the ZOOM platform, where each interested person could ask questions in real time.

In conclusion, the Deputy Chairman of the CREM reminded everyone that the submitted project is only a project, and the final decision will be made based on the results of a thorough review of the RFC information on RES in the time and manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
