The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) invites all interested parties to participate in auctions for the selection of projects for the construction of renewable generation facilities.
 
In order to prepare and study in detail the projects of investors to participate in auctions for the selection of renewable energy projects, the Ministry has developed and approved the schedule of auction auctions for 2023 and the Plan of auction auctions for 2024-2027.
  
Interested parties can request clarifications on the official websites of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, LLP "Settlement and Financial Center for Support of Renewable Energy Sources" (https://rfc.kz/auctions/selections) and JSC "KOREM" (https://vie.korem.kz/rus/uchastie_v_torgah/uchastie_vie /).
 
In accordance with the Rules of organization and conduct of auctions (approved by the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 21, 2017 No. 466), the Schedule and Plan of auctions are published on the official website of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/energo/documents/details/472835 ?lang=ru). 
 
The total auctioned installed capacity for 2023 is 860 MW, broken down by type of power plants:

• solar power plants (SES) – 100 MW;
• wind power plants (wind farms) – 500 MW;
• hydroelectric power plants (HPP) – 250 MW;
• biogas power plants (BioRes) – 10 MW.
