On March 18, 2022, USAID donated two ZX300 LiDAR wind measuring systems to RFC for Renewables LLP to conduct comprehensive studies of wind potential in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The transfer of wind measuring installations was carried out as part of the implementation of the USAID Regional Program “Future Energy”.
LiDAR ZX300 is a high-tech wind measurement system using laser rangefinder method. The instrument is designed to accurately and reliably monitor wind conditions at various altitudes, which is key to optimizing wind power systems and other applications that require accurate wind performance data.
