On January 18, 2023, a seminar on the topic "Prevention of corruption" was held at the Settlement Financial Center for RES Support LLP as part of the anti-corruption action plan.

Employees of the Anti–Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Anti-Corruption Service) - Miras Kargabai, Head of the Prevention Service Department and Asan Aidarkhanov, an expert of the Prevention Service, addressed the company's staff.

During the seminar, issues on the concept of anti-corruption policy and anti-corruption reforms carried out in Kazakhstan, including the latest amendments to legislation aimed at:

introduction of control over the compliance of expenses and incomes of subjects of corruption;

formation of a system of protection of persons who have reported facts of corruption;

expansion of the list of corruption crimes, which also include embezzlement and fraud on a particularly large scale;

improving the activities of anti-corruption compliance services in the quasi-public sector and methodological coordination of their activities by the Anti-Corruption Service.

The issues of the need to carry out systemic anti-corruption measures in quasi-public sector entities along with state bodies, including monitoring, analysis and adjustment of internal business processes in order to eliminate corruption risks, were discussed.

The responsibility of the management of quasi-state companies and the role of compliance officers in the ongoing work on the prevention of corruption, as well as on the formation of an anti-corruption culture in their teams was noted.

During the seminar, an active exchange of views took place, in the format of a dialogue, employees received explanations and exhaustive answers from representatives of the Anti-Corruption Service.
